ALL-STAR MANAGER AND COACH SELECTION PROCESS

Shreveport Little League’s mission is to develop young men and women of character.  Towards that end Shreveport Little League has adopted a democratic process to select all-star managers which we hope will encourage managers to model good sportsmanship and develop their entire regular season roster.

Shreveport Little League will adhere to the following all-star manager selection process, which was duly reviewed and voted in by the Board of Directors for the 2018 season:

The selection of the manager for all-star tournament teams will be decided by a majority vote of the league managers and three representatives from the Board of Directors.  Typically the League Coordinator, Player Agent, and the President will each have a vote unless they have a conflict of interest.  In the event of a conflict, the Board of Directors will select another impartial representative to vote.  The Board strongly recommends, but does not require, the all-star manager to have had at least a .500 record during the regular season. The President of Shreveport Little League may veto the manager selected if he or she chooses.  

The all-star manager shall select their assistant coaches.
